AKC Winner

We watched the AKC championships the other night. Midnight was not impressed.... I think she's an anti-snob, what do you call it when someone goes out of their way to snub purebreds, in favor of mutts?

So the Beagle won. What's with that puff on his tail?

Yeah Beagles are really pack dogs. They'll socialize with humans, but they're not that interested. They always seem to be looking ofr a bunch of beagles to play with.

But AKC is supposed to be about Best in Breed then Best in Show. I don't see how that weird, puffy tail can be the breed standard for Beagles.

Oh, well. Mutts make better pets, anyway.

I didn't get it either, I mean it was a cute Beagle, but best in show?? We have a Beagle puppy in our apartment complex and they are very cute puppies, but at 10 weeks, he's already howling :)
