We watched the AKC championships the other night. Midnight was not impressed.... I think she's an anti-snob, what do you call it when someone goes out of their way to snub purebreds, in favor of mutts?

Mallomars are back! At least they are here in the northeast. Every year they take them off the shelves in the spring and you can't get them again until fall. Probably because they are made from really good chocolate, with no anti-melting polymers added to the formulation.

They used to be available all year 'round. We kept them in the fridge in the summer. That way they never melted.... Of course we could sit down with a box of Mallomars and a quart of milk, and disappear both in an instant, so they never really had TIME to melt....

I'd just like to say that my best friend Aja has just had to give her dog, Chabby, away because of lack of heath care and home issues. I'm really really sorry for her, and hope this doesn't happen to anyone who is reading this. On two accounts, I'd like to note that this site lists many good vets and such, and some great places that will take some great dogs, if it's absolutely needed.
